from 04.15 pm to 05.45 pm


This course is intended for Asian Academics whose first language is not English and who need English language support for their academic studies and daily life in Kiel.


The course aims to:

  • improve your general confidence, fluency and accuracy in English
  • improve your pronunciation through class exercises
  • increase your vocabulary by discussing a range of topics from everyday life and academic situations
  • work on areas of grammar that are specific trouble spots for students with an Asian background
  • help you deal with difficult people and situations that are due to intercultural differences

The course is flexible and will be adjusted to meet the group's needs.



Applications are welcome until 4 March 2018 via our registration portal.


Please note:

There are 12 places on this course. Persons that have a place on the course will receive an e-mail from the Graduate Center after the deadline for registration has expired. Without this confirmation mail you cannot participate in the course. Only participants that have registered for the course via the Graduate Center will receive a certificate of attendance.

All further registrations will be placed on a waiting list. As soon as there is a free place on the course you will receive a message from us. If you do not receive any message from us concerning this course there are no free places and unfortunately you cannot participate in this course.
