The doctoral candidates from Kiel University that are registered with the Graduate Center come from 58 nations and represent many different cultures and religions. Irrespective of their affiliations they cooperate harmoniously and constructively not just in their research projects, but also in courses, committees and many other activities. The Graduate Center supports and coordinates these cooperations and decisively rejects discrimination in any form. We do not place innocent persons under general suspicion.
The building Leibnizstr. 3 is a tolerant space where hostility towards strangers is not accepted. Persons displaying such behaviour will be noticed and will be treated accordingly.
If you are the target of unacceptable behaviour please do not hesitate to call the main gate of the University under the number 0421 880-2222. The security personnel is on call 24 hours a day and can reach you on campus in 5 minutes.

Kiel University supports the qualification of its doctoral candidates through the Graduate Center. The Graduate Center offers information about the doctorate, consulting about funding, interdisciplinary qualification free of charge, support for networking with other doctoral candidates and helpful tips concerning specific questions.
